Iron Chef Portuguese Linguisa was, by Iron Chef standards, a casual affair. With all three participants active chefs and a remarkable shortage of digital camera batteries, providence alone can be thanked for the rare few pictures of this event that were captured. Three dishes were served, one for each Chef, each taking a unique approach to the battle ingredient of Portuguese linguisa.

The Iron Chef Micronesia-Latvia created "Chicken Cordon Linguisa" - chicken breasts stuffed with diced Linguisa, smoked Gouda cheese, a sprinkling of portabella mushrooms and breaded in an herb-breadcrumb.



The Iron Chef Czec Republic prepared a stuffed portabella appetizer consisting of grated Linguisa, pepper jack cheese, parmesean cheese, garlic, pesto and oil. They glistened because they were good.



Iron Chef regular and celebrity fan, Zusi "Lay-Z-boy" Tokamara arrived to make his sundried tomato pizza. He hand threw the dough and topped it with tomato paste, sundried tomatoes, black olives, diced linguisa and cheese.
