The Places I've Lived
Looking up the SF Peninsula, the Pacific is on the left, the watershed and reservoir are between the hills, and the Bay is (showing up a little patchy) on the right. San Francisco is visible in the top right in the distance. The 'Sloughs' appear to be a bug. I live immediately to the west of the school visible at the lower center. The hills below the Water Dog Lake label are a nice place to hike.
Looking over Salzburg, up the long straight Moostrasse (road) toward the Untersburg Mountain. I lived on the Moostrasse between the Kommunalfriedhof and the airport (visible to the right). The Salzach river is visible meandering along the left all the way to the distant Hallein (a favorite biking destination of mine). The yellow line is the German border. The Monchsberg was a beautiful place I could climb and be alone, overlooking the entire city.
Looking up highway 110 from USC (at the bottom) to downtown Los Angeles. University Avenue from 27th street was my daily bicycle 'commute'. It's amazing to consider that this is only a small fraction of Los Angeles.
Looking down on the north side of the Monterey Bay. You can see most of the city from the beaches to the hills. I grew up in Live Oak. I often rode my bike to Lighthouse point and beyond.
