Space Commandos
Doesn't appear to work in Netscape
Before Starting:
- Minimize this browser window and orient it so that it takes up the entire screen except for the very top. At the top of the screen move the brawl window to the right. You can see all of the text windows at the same time. Make the main game screen active.
- Turn off NumLock and use numpad (including diagonals) to move
commandos.
- Make sure your monitor resolution is high so that you can see at least most of the board at once.
If you don't like the random map hit refresh for a new one.
Game Controls:
Esc ends turn.
Hit SpaceBar to shoot, then hit "A" if you want an aimed shot or "R"
if you want to use a rocket (R again disables rocket mode),
then select a target with the mouse.
"W" picks up a dropped weapon. "E" picks up
an egg. "N" proceeds to next person in a firefight. "H" checks a hatch. "B" beams
out. F6 prepares a taunt. F8 toggles obscenities (for filthy-minded children only).
When a brawl starts,
play alternates between players, starting with the active player. Click on the commando you want to use, then
click a number key corresponding to the type of attack you would like to use and then click on a target commando.
Careful, due to the hectic nature you can shoot friends in
a firefight.
